Travel Information

Attending a conference in the nation's fourth-largest city can create some anxiety, but not if you have information. This page provides links to access information about the Houston airport system, domestic airlines serving Houston, and available ground transportation options.

Hotel Information

The conference venue is the Omni Houston Hotel, located at 4 Riverway in the Galleria area of Houston. The conference room rate is $129 per night (single or double occupancy), plus tax. To obtain the conference rate, reservations must be made by September 7, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. Reservations may be made by directly contacting the Omni Houston Hotel (713.871.8181). As the reservation deadline draws near, the hotel will have the most current room availability information. Please do not call the Omni Hotels Reservation Center. As before, the conference rate is not available through the Omni Online Reservations Center.

Airport / Airline Information

The Houston Airport System offers a choice of two airports served by commercial carriers. George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), located approximately 26 miles from the Conference site, is the eighth-busiest airport in the nation and serves over thirty million passengers every year. The William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is located approximately 20 miles from the Conference site and serves approximately eight million passengers each year.

Continental Airlines, through its MeetingWorks program, is the designated airline for the 2005 Conference. You will receive a discount off Continental's lowest published fare by calling MeetingWorks at 800.468.7022 or visiting the MeetingWorks reservations web page to book your flight! Valid travel dates are October 2, 2005 through October 16, 2005. When using MeetingWorks, you or your travel agent must correctly provide Z Code: ZPK1 and Agreement Code: VVTEDY.

Ground Transportation

Shuttle Services (Express Shuttle)

The conference venue does not operate a courtesy van, but shuttle service between the Omni Houston Hotel and either airport is available from Express Shuttle. Rental Car Services (Enterprise Rent-a-Car)

NAPSA attendees can arrange for rental car use at a discounted rate through Enterprise Rent-a-Car at either Bush Intercontinental Airport or Hobby Airport. Enterprise, through its location near the conference hotel, also provides pickup and delivery for vehicles rented after attendees arrive at the hotel. Taxi Services

Taxi services are available from both Bush Intercontinental and Hobby. Published pricing reflects a cost approximately double that of the shuttle services.
